Honduras Mission Trip/Rice Bowl News!
Our mission team will be going on a trip to Good Shepherd Children’s Home. in Honduras in June.
Please continue to pray for the children and those that help at the Good Shepherd Children’s Home and RICEBOWLS.
We Need Your Help! There will be a Fundraiser Meal for the Honduras mission trip on Sunday, February 26 at 5:00pm in the MAC. The menu will be “pot luck” so come expecting some of your favorite dishes & desserts! The cost will be by donation. All money raised will go toward the cost of the trip. Please continue to pray for this trip that God will do a great work while they are there!
Please turn in Rice Bowl banks by Sunday, February 26th. There is a container outside of Jeff’s office in the MAC. Thank you!
UPWARD SPORTS!
Practices continue during the week; Next game is Saturday, February 11, 2023
We are having a great time on Saturdays in Upward.
During Upward there are many ways to minister and help on Saturdays. You can come sit in the stands, fellowship with visitors, greet people at the front door, work in the concession stand, or help clean up at the end of the day.
We are very thankful for our volunteers who help through the week, and every Saturday. If you would like to volunteer, please see Jeff Harris.
Please continue to pray for all our children, youth, coaches, referees and volunteers that participate/help each week in Upward.

Loudon County Fresh Pantry Mobile Distribution sponsored by Second Harvest Food Bank is every third Friday, at our church from 10:00AM – 12:00PM. If anyone would like to help, please meet on Friday February 17at 9:45AM
Soul Sisters – Ladies please come join us on Thursday, February 23rd at 6:30pm in the fellowship hall. We will be celebrating Gods love, enjoying refreshments, and activities with door prizes! Childcare will be provided.
KIDS CAMP!
Journey Camp is a fun-filled, energetic camp designed to engage elementary age kids in age-appropriate worship, Bible study, recreation, track times, and other exciting camp activities.
Journey Camp is grounded in scripture and is intentionally gospel centered. Our desire is to see kids experience God in such a way that it will impact their journey of faith for a lifetime.
Camp Dates: June 30 – July 2, 2023
Camp Location: Camp Carson, Newport, TN
This camp is for children who will complete 1st-6th grade this school year. Please sign up on the sheet posted in the foyer to the fellowship hall and pay a nonrefundable $50 deposit by March 12th. The church will pay the remaining balance.
