This morning Maribeth Watson will be sharing about the wonderful ministry that she is involved with at Morning Star. Their mission is to uplift individuals with disabilities by guiding them into a transformative relationship with Jesus Christ and empowering them to reach their full potential, celebrating their unique gifts and reflecting God’s glory.
FUNDRAISING EVENT! We will be having a SOUP SUPPER FOR MISSIONS on Wednesday night, February 19, 2024 at 6:00 PM in the MAC.
Our normal Wednesday night activities will be cancelled that night to allow everyone to attend. We will have assorted homemade soups, sandwiches and sweet treats plus mac and cheese for the kids! The cost will be by donation with the proceeds going toward the Honduras mission trip. What a great way to warm up on a cold winter evening! Be sure to mark your calendars and make plans to attend!

We are very thankful for our volunteers who help through the week, and every Saturday.
Please continue to pray for all our children, youth, coaches, referees and volunteers that participate or help each week in Upward.
Games are each Saturday, 9am-2pm, January 4th – February 22nd
Second Harvest Food Bank mobile pantry will distribute food here, Friday February 21st at 10am-12pm (or until all allotted food has been given out).
Soul Sisters/Ladies Night Out – Please meet Thursday, February 27th at 6:30pm in the fellowship hall. We will enjoy a wonderful night of fellowship with one another.
Summer Camp!
We love taking kids to camp because of the awesome impact just one week can have in the life of a camper. The focus at camp is all about making sure no child leaves camp without a life-changing encounter with Christ. The staff and our church leaders will spend the week helping kids understand that God has a plan for us and desires a relationship with us.

A sign-up sheet is posted in the foyer of the fellowship hall soon. Deadline to sign-up and pay the $100 fee is February 23rd.
